SECPROTEC EAST AFRICA trade showcase for Security and Protection Technology set for Nairobi.

The world of Security and Protection Technology is coming to Nairobi again to exhibit or attend at the next SecProTec East Africa from 20th – 22nd August 2014! The showcase  will consist of about 100 leading exhibiting companies from over 20 countries and around 2.500 governments, authorities or trade buyers from East and Central Africa.
It is expected that the market for civil security technologies in East Africa will continuously grow in the future. Industrial growth and the increase of urbanization in both countries open up additional market potentials for the use of security technologies. Both in the commercial and public sectors the demand for high-tech video and alarm systems, electronic access control and specialty equipment especially (incl. technical textiles) will be on a high level. In addition, the threat of terrorist attacks plays a significant role. Fields of application of electronic security technology are strategically important facilities, such as airports, railway stations or other urban infrastructure. Recent incidents such as the attack on the Westgate Shopping Center in Nairobi in September 2013 reinforce the need for improved safety technology in Kenya and the region.
As a German based organization with a regional office in Nairobi/Kenya, we will support your business in the region and bring you together with other international partners.
The Launch of first SecProTec East Africa 2013 was a success despite the West Gate Mall attack and the 3 days of mourning which have been announced for the same show days. With 60 participating companies from 15 countries the headstone was laid to facilitate the introduction of new technologies in East Africa.

As the hall planning has already started and international companies have already booked stands, we kindly ask you to register as soon as possible to receive a good location. You will find registration information incl. show brochure and video on the website.
