This is the first time a Kenyan firm is receiving the award since inception in 2003. Honorees were selected through two rounds of judging by business professionals worldwide.

Organizations all over the world are eligible to compete in the International Business Awards which are divided into over 40 categories, ranging from the Multinational Company of the Year, Best New Product of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year and Executive of the Year to name but a few.
